Christine Meggan Nyakwaka is a development practitioner from Nairobi, Kenya. She graduated from Kenyatta University with honors in Environmental Studies and Community Development. As a community developer, she has demonstrated experience working with local and international communities both offline and online. She is a strong believer in empowering communities and advocating for capacity building to enable members to make informed decisions that directly affect them.
Her passion for social impact and community empowerment led her to join Millennium Fellowship to advocate for better education practices in public schools in Kenya, now an alumni Class of 2020. As a Millennium Fellow, Christine led an initiative that promoted digital learning and sustainable educational practices to promote SDG 4.
Christine advocates for volunteering as a way of giving back to the community and making a difference. Small acts of kindness make the biggest impact in the long run.
