Shireen Kalra holds an MSc in Higher Education from the University of Oxford, with a research focus on advancing equity in admissions policies. She completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science and International Relations at Ashoka University, India, where she served as the Campus Director for the Millennium Fellowship cohort of 2022.

Shireen has two years of experience effectively mentoring candidates from marginalised South Asian communities with their university applications abroad. She is also a published fiction author. Her second book, The Outfield, was released worldwide by Lady Elish Angiolini, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, in 2023.
