Minkyeong Bae,
Program Coordinator
Minkyeong is the warm and dedicated Program Coordinator at MCN. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her BA in Fashion and Textiles, with a focus on Knitwear Design and Technology, which she earned at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Minkyeong’s passion for making a positive impact is evident through her recent experience as an alumna of the Millennium Fellowship’s 2023 cohort, where she served as the Campus Director. She led the social project "TUNE," which was embraced by her university’s department community. Through this project, she introduced the importance of Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Life Below Water) to over 100 local secondary students in Hong Kong, inspiring them to care for the oceans.
Minkyeong’s journey is marked by diverse and meaningful experiences in marketing, creative arts, and social work. She has had the opportunity to intern in several countries, including Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, and the United Kingdom through a study abroad program. Each experience enriched her understanding of different cultures and communities. Her time abroad has helped her develop deep empathy and a genuine connection with people from all walks of life. As an undergraduate research student, Minkyeong participated in a research project with great enthusiasm, showcasing her confidence in public speaking and her natural ability to bring people together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.
