Mary Kibe, Program Coordinator

Mary is a graduate from the United States International University-Africa where she pursued a bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a concentration in Development Studies. She is passionate about sustainable development especially quality education and gender equality. She was a Millennium Fellow in 2020 where she focused on Education among young university students during the covid 19 pandemic.

She served in the Student Government as Secretary General where she focused on student’s co-curricular activities an important facet in improving student’s lives. She was heavily involved in offering guidance and mentorship to student leaders in running their student led activities. She worked as a research assistant in the same institution where she focused on how Higher Education institutions can match up with the trends in the labour market. This in turn enables students transition in the job market with the right skills and qualifications. She has equally done research in gender reporting and gender mainstreaming.

As Program Coordinator, Mary will be responsible for coordinating the implementation and administration of the program as well as supporting student leaders at campuses in their social impact journey.
