Ganesh Dileep, Program Coordinator
Ganesh Dileep is a recent graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, where he specialized in English Studies with a Development Studies focus. A global citizen and a vocal proponent of the philosophy of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' or the world as a family, Ganesh believes in empowering local, collective action toward addressing global issues. As a Millennium Fellowship alumnus, former Campus Director (Class of 2020), and an Africa Team Lead within the 2021 Millennium Fellowship Admissions Committee, they have diligently served the MCN family in various capacities. Being a queer climate activist, Ganesh has been actively involved in working on the climate and gender agendas in India, during their time in college and beyond. Recognizing his efforts, the IIT Madras Alumni Association named him 'Sustainability Champion' (2020).
A seasoned youth leader, Ganesh has served in various leadership positions over the last four years with international, governmental, and non-governmental organizations, including the UN Asia Pacific Center of Education for International Understanding (UN APCEIU), Ministry of External Affairs (India), Ministry of Home and Public Health (Delhi Govt.), etc. They dream of a world where everyone is free to enjoy the pursuit of happiness, irrespective of their identities, without fear of persecution, oppression, or man-made disasters.
As a Program Coordinator at MCN, Ganesh is excited to support over 40 campuses worldwide in their Millennium Fellowship journey and support them as they take their social impact work to the next level.
