Farheen (she/her) has a Bachelor in Arts from Sciences Po, Paris where she majored in Politics & Government. Coming from Kashmir, she has been passionately involved with human rights work over the past three years in the capacity of a researcher and policy advocate, on themes of gender-based violence, education, and enforced disappearance. Her paper with a directory on support services for survivors of gender violence in Kashmir is available for public use.

Farheen serves on the Executive Board of the project s(H)e, working to make the feminist discourse more inclusive, accessible, and nuanced. Farheen introduced the Millennium Fellowship to her university, becoming Campus Director of the first cohort from France, at Sciences Po, Paris (class of 2020).
